Junior catcher Taylor Gushue rebounded from a sub-par effort on Monday night with two home runs including a grand slam to pace CCA to an 11-1 win at Chaminade. Sophomore outfielder Stephen Barnett delivered his first varsity homer - a two run job - and the Eagles cruised to their sixth straight. CCA has won nine of their last 10 and stand 14-6-1 overall.
Senior Ryan Lowrey sent his stock further north with a complete game. Lowrey leads Broward County in appearances with 14 and is among the top ten in ERA and strikouts. The win today makes him 4-0 for the Eagles on the season.
