Ryan Reilly blasted a fourth inning grand slam to cap off the scoring in an 11-0 victory over district rival Westminster Academy this afternoon. Chris Walkerow picked up his fourth win allowing only one hit in four innings of work. Stephen Barnett stayed hot with three singles. Dalton DiNatale hit his team leading eleventh double, drove in three and scored twice. Anthony Avila went 2-2 and also scored twice.
The slam was Reilly's third hit of the day and sixth straight. For the week Reilly went 7 for 8 and was on base 9 out of 10 plate appearances. CCA has no won seven straight and ten of their last eleven. During the win streak the Eagles have outscored their opponents 76-14.
Most importantly, the Eagles won District 14 2A with a 6-0 record and will host the district tournament beginning April 25th as the number one seed.
