Chris Walkerow struck out nine Crusaders in a 7-0 shut out of Dade Christian today. Dalton DiNatale drove in four runs with two doubles and Taylor Gushue knocked in a pair with a solo homer and a double. Emilio DeSilva continued his uncanny ability to get on base today with two doubles, a walk and a hit-by-pitch. DeSilva has been on base his last thirteen plate appearances dating back to the Coral Springs Christian game.
Stephen Barnett had two hits, Ryan Reilly drove in a run and Anthony Avila doubled for the Eagles.
The win improves CCA to 10-6-1. Next up is a non-district make up game at Coral Springs Charter on Thursday night.
