Eagle Alum Luke Jackson Now 2-0 For Crawdads

CCA Alum Luke Jackson improved to 2-0 in his first four starts for the Hickory Crawdads (Rangers A) as he carried a no hitter through 5.2 innings Saturday night against the Savannah Sand Gnats. Jackson finished the sixth inning with a shut out allowing just two hits while striking out seven. He lowered his ERA to 1.62 and his strikeout to walk ratio is just above 4:1. The six innings against Savannah is Jackson's longest outing as a professional.

Luke was tabbed as the opening night starter for Hickory on April 6 and responded with eight K's over five innings for the win. The Crawdads have won six straight road games and return home tonight for a seven game home stand.
