CCA made a strong showing at the Flanagan Nike OTS Challenge but fell 4-0 to the defending Florida 6A State Champs and defacto National Champions. In fact, the Eagles watched Flanagan receive their National Championship award before the game and then fought them for 7 innings. Chris Walkerow gave up only 3 hits in 4 2/3 innings but was tagged for the four Falcon runs. Ryan Lowrey was unhittable in relief, striking out 3 of the 4 batters he faced.
