Austin Sovay threw a six inning complete game for his first win at CCA and the offense made sure he got all the support he would need. Coach Moose's lineup worked according to plan with leadoff hitter Emilo DeSilva scoring three times and the middle of the lineup providing the RBI's. Taylor Gushue (3-run HR), Tyler Middlebrooks (solo HR) and Dalton DiNatale drove in eight of the ten runs. The win pushes CCA back over .500 with a 3-2-1 record.
Next up is defending 4A State Champs Archbishop McCarthy on the road and under the lights at 7 PM Thursday. Seth Natal is slated to start for the Eagles.
